A dynamic and rapidly expanding company is seeking a talented Group Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting and consolidation for local and overseas entities within the organization.
About the Role
- Prepare financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards on a timely basis.
- Collaborate with local finance teams to address internal accounting issues and establish Accounting SOPs.
- Drive process enhancements to strengthen internal controls.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions for accurate consolidation.
- Address complex accounting issues and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain consistency in Chart of Accounts and report layouts.
- Develop year-end reporting templates and compliance disclosures.
- Supervise audit and tax matters.
- Assist in preparing annual/interim reports and work closely with external auditors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., HKICPA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in startups or experience in spin-off projects from listed companies.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, international accounting, and taxation regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft tools, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates high integrity, commitment to continuous improvement, and keen attention to detail, with a quick learning ability in dynamic environments.
