Threat & Vulnerability Manager

Overview
A leading global consulting firm is seeking a Threat & Vulnerability Manager to join its growing cybersecurity practice. This role will focus on delivering offensive security services, leading technical engagements, and supporting the development of a high-performing Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) capability.
You will work with a range of clients to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks, while contributing to the expansion of advanced red team and penetration testing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver red team exercises, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments across client environments
- Perform web and mobile application security testing and secure configuration reviews
- Design and implement advanced red team infrastructure and capabilities
- Advise clients on security frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST)
- Identify emerging threats, tools, and techniques to enhance service offerings
- Support the growth of the TVM function, including mentoring junior team members
- Work closely with clients to provide actionable remediation strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in threat and vulnerability management or offensive security roles
- Strong hands-on experience in penetration testing and red teaming
- Experience with tools such as Cobalt Strike, Burp Suite, Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7
- Good understanding of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Experience in EDR evasion, payload development, or threat simulation
- Exposure to cloud security and secure configuration reviews
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a client-facing environment
Desirable
- Experience building or enhancing red team infrastructure
- Exposure to ransomware simulation or security architecture
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, OSEP, OSWE, CISSP
Background
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
