Start date January 2025 | Multinational Client | 11 month contract | Hybrid, 3 days in Dublin
Responsibilities:
- Work with the EMEA tax team and the wider international payroll team to manage tax controversy in EMEA including;
Responding to RFIs by collating information from finance and business sources
Working with external advisors to manage controversy strategy
Collaborating with wider tax team on controversy matters
Supporting finance team relating to accounting implications of tax controversy matters
- Support various tax matters relating to Meta's international operating structure, including transfer pricing documentation, withholding tax obligations, tax controls and reviews of activities and operations to ensure compliance with operational goals as required
- Support International Tax compliance teams with various initiatives as required
- Assess all benefits provided for employees and tax ability through payroll correctly
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in international tax experience in Big 4, law firm and/or tech industry in EMEA
- University degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in tax, law or accounting preferred
- Strong international tax knowledge and familiarity of tax issues for a multinational company
- Strong analytical, documentation, research and project management skills
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong excel skills
- Hands-on, independent, able to multitask and prioritise
