Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced Supply Planning Manager to join an expanding multinational organisation in Dublin. This is a permanent role with hybrid working options.
Playing a key role in an expanding Supply Chain department, this Supply Planning Manager will develop key relationships with globally based suppliers and will be responsible for Supply Chain readiness for the timely introduction of new products and materials.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and manage the overall supply chain planning strategy, including demand forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory management.
- Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Coordinate, prepare and execute S&OP meetings.
- Partner with external suppliers and third-party manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods
- Play a critical role in planning and managing the efficient flow of products and services through the supply chain cycle.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain planners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Set clear goals, manage performance, and ensure the team is equipped with the tools and knowledge to meet objectives.
Key Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in supply chain planning, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain, including GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex supply chain processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of SAP is preferred
