This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where you'll play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end order management process. As a Supply Chain Specialist, your primary focus will be to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of products-from order placement through to final delivery-by collaborating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee supplier performance to drive improvements in supply reliability, lead-time accuracy, and fulfilment efficiency.
- Verify order details including pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and replenishment.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce stockouts and overstocking.
- Monitor order status and provide timely updates to customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as backorders, substitutions, and delivery discrepancies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders and delivery timelines.
- Identify and drive process improvements within the order management function.
- Develop initiatives to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 years' experience in supply chain with a strong emphasis on order management, inventory control, and logistics.
- SAP experience is essential.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret trends and implement actionable insights.
