Morgan McKinley are delighted to partner with an innovative and fast-growing startup in the FMCG sector, based in Dublin. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team and help drive their growth.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity. This role will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors, ensuring the timely delivery of products, and supporting the company's growth and operational goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.
- Oversee demand planning and forecasting to ensure consistent product availability.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product flow and timely delivery.
- Implement and manage effective inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain supply chain KPIs and metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to prevent disruptions.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supply chain processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
Key requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in a startup environment or fast-growing company is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
