Location: Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim or Sandyford, Co. Dublin
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Solutions Analyst to join our IT team, responsible for taking business and technical requirements through to delivery. This role involves designing solutions, writing technical specifications, coordinating with development teams, participating in testing phases, and supporting production deployments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and integration skills, experience in enterprise environments, and the ability to manage projects end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to define goals, scope, deliverables, critical requirements, and potential risks.
Review and understand technical documentation, including APIs, SDKs, technical specs, and release notes.
Support solution design and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and IT strategy.
Participate in system implementations, upgrades, releases, conversions, and disaster recovery planning.
Conduct testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing, working closely with the testing team.
Coordinate production deployments, including occasional late-evening releases, ensuring minimal business disruption.
Develop and maintain project and solution delivery plans, monitoring milestones, and reporting on progress.
Communicate proactively with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven hands-on experience in technical development and system integration.
Experience with APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), microservices, and enterprise integration.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, mobile applications, and enterprise software tools.
Strong documentation skills, including writing technical requirements, functional specifications, and test cases.
Experience with UAT, SIT, and production deployments.
Strong understanding of system architecture principles and IT project lifecycle.
Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office (Excel, Visio, Word).
Problem-solving skills and ability to provide practical solutions for complex technical challenges.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or BizTalk.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or C#.
Knowledge of SOAP, Postman, or PowerShell.
Exposure to financial services or ERP systems.
IT Project Management experience.
