Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Supply Planner to join an expanding Supply Chain team based in Dublin.
The Senior Supply Planner will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end supply chain planning process with a focus on CMOs globally. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers, internal cross-functional teams, and other external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, optimal inventory levels, and efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities include but are limited to:
- Develop and manage the supply plan for products manufactured by global suppliers, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely production, shipment, and delivery of products, managing lead times and production schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, quality, logistics, and customer service, to align production schedules and manage potential risks.
- Implement strategies to balance inventory levels across multiple regions, ensuring optimal stock positioning.
- Monitor performance through key metrics (OTIF, lead times, quality, etc.) and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Work closely with demand planners to integrate demand forecasts into supply planning and ensure seamless production flow.
- Utilize demand data to anticipate potential capacity constraints and ensure sufficient flexibility within production schedules.
- Engage in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align supply chain strategy with business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years' supply chain experience with a knowledge of Supply Planning and other aspects of including scheduling, forecasting, demand Planning and S&OP.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline required
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical supply chains, including regulatory requirements (GMP/GDP), batch production, and cold chain management
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
