To reinforce my client’s Architecture team, I am looking for a Senior Solution Architect with e-commerce/ retail experience, for a role in Dublin North. Permanent and hybrid role.
Responsibilities
You report to the Senior Manager Architect, and you assist in making key architecture decision that will influence the company direction and act as role model and mentor to our partners in engineering and product mind business operations.
Your missions are:
- Working closely with the product team to help define roadmaps that align business strategy to technology strategy.
- Focusing on business requirements/capabilities, data architecture, standards, impact assessments across domains, business cases, high level implementation plans and NFRs.
- Design and shape significant solutions and identify key architecture decision and calling out technical and architectural debt.
- Ensure the right guardrails are updated, understood and implemented across my client.
- Create and maintain the conceptual data models.
Qualifications and technical skills
Preferred qualifications
BSc. or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
Requirements / Main Skills.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a solution or domain architect, ideally in e-commerce or retail.
- Architectural experience of native and non-native cloud services for either Azure or AWS including Kubernetes, CosmosDB
- Experience using one or more: Azure DW, RedShift, Snowflake, GCP, SQL Server
- Kafka and ideally confluence, for event-driven architecture and event-streaming.
- Previous experience as a software developer, in Microsoft stack: C#.
- Proficiency in modern technology and architectural patterns.
- Knowledge of cloud, cybersecurity and infrastructure.

You keep business goals in mind and you drive continuous improvement. You are organised and know how to plan and follow a project.
