Exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a rapidly expanding global legal firm based in the heart of Dublin City Centre on a permanent basis. Reporting into the UK Credit Control Manager you will be in a standalone position initially managing end to end Credit Control procedures for the Irish business.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular meetings with Partners to track transaction timelines, expected fees, and billing requirements, updating central forecasts for Dublin and UK management.
- Prepare profitability reports and discuss with partners if profitability is low.
- Foster positive relationships with partners, fee-earners, secretaries, and the wider finance team.
- Monitor and reduce aged Work In Progress (WIP) in line with lock-up day budget.
- Address partner requests for information, such as client fee level reports over time.
- Support Dublin office in achieving monthly and annual billing targets.
- Coordinate with Warsaw billing team to ensure accuracy per partner and client instructions.
- Assist front office users in billing workflow, including training new users.
- Collaborate with Partners and Credit Control Manager on special billing arrangements.
- Prepare detailed schedules of hours or outside counsel disbursements for reporting or billing.
- Ensure compliance with e-billing procedures for clients needing electronic invoices.
- Proactively collect aged debts via calls and emails, aiming for at least 10 calls daily.
- Schedule and attend monthly meetings with partners to strategize debt collection.
- Send monthly client statements via email and complete supplier forms as required.
- Maintain accurate debtor notes in ARCS accounts system
Key Skills/Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Credit Control experience
- Experience working in a standalone position is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior staff members
- Experience working in a professional services or legal background is an advantage
