Morgan McKinley are delighted to partner with an innovative and fast-growing startup in the FMCG sector, based in Dublin. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Receiving Clerk to join this team and help drive growth from the beginning.
As a Receiving Clerk in the beverage industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all incoming products are accurately received, inspected, and recorded. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of goods into our clients facilities globally, ensuring that inventory levels are accurately maintained and that all products meet our quality standards. This position is essential to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of their supply chain operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately processed & recorded
- Receive all incoming deliveries in an accurate & timely manner
- Verify accuracy of shipments via cross checks of all relevant documents
- Assist with cycle counts/stock checks as necessary
- Identify & rectify stock discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate safety stock parameters in the WMS
- Monitor SS levels & liase with wider SC team to maintain/manage inventory
- Build strong relationships with third party manufacturing/ suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance & escalate issues/failures as required
- Support new product launches & obsolescence through accurate/timely sharing of data
Key Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of WMS.
- Good understanding of stock management principles and best practice
- Strong excel skills.
- Experience within FMCG is advantageous
