Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll for all employees accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Employee Data Management: Maintain and update payroll records, including personal and salary information.
- Deductions & Benefits: Administer statutory and voluntary deductions, including taxes, pension contributions, and other benefits.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and prepare necessary reports for management.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee queries promptly.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and enhance payroll processes and procedures.
- Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by supplying necessary payroll documentation and explanations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
