Exciting contract opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join a national sporting body who are based in Dublin West. Working as part of the HR-People team you will be responsible for managing payroll queries, processing payroll data and liaising with the external payroll provider.
- 9-month contract initially
- Hybrid working model - 2/3 days in office per week
- Based in West Dublin
- Salary: €32,000 - €37,000
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Act as the main liaison with the external payroll provider.
- Work with the external payroll provider to prepare and manage payroll files for core, casual, and UK payrolls on a monthly basis.
- Liaise with departmental contacts to gather and format payroll instructions for various employee groups (coaches, backroom staff, referees, core payroll).
- Oversee the inclusion of new casual employees in the appropriate payroll system.
- Confirm that all required checks and approvals are completed.
- Assist in the processing of expenses within the monthly payroll cycle.
- Maintain compliance with current payroll regulations and legislation.
- Create and deliver payroll-related reports to the finance team as needed.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- IPASS qualification is desirable
- At least 2 years of experience in a Payroll position
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- MS Office skills
