Morgan McKinley is partnering exclusively with a well-known not‑for‑profit organisation to appoint a Head of HR.
Reporting to the CEO, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping people strategy, culture and leadership capability across a unique, values-driven organisation operating across the Island of Ireland.
You will act as a strategic advisor, aligning people and culture initiatives with organisational goals, and driving sustainable approaches to attract, develop and retain talent across a diverse community of staff, members and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a people strategy that supports mission, growth and long-term sustainability
- Partner with the CEO, leadership and governance bodies to drive culture, engagement and organisational effectiveness
- Strengthen recruitment, onboarding, retention and employee experience
- Build leadership capability and support succession across staff and volunteer structures
- Lead on employee relations, governance, safeguarding and HR best practice
- Enhance learning and development to support staff, members and volunteers
- Use data and insight to inform decision-making and improve consistency across the organisation
About You
- Senior HR leadership experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- Strong track record influencing at executive and Board level
- Skilled in organisational development, culture and change
- Comfortable working in a values-led, member or volunteer-led environment
- Pragmatic, emotionally intelligent and able to build trust across diverse groups
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations and governance
