Role Summary
Morgan McKinley has partnered with a sales agency who are looking to hire a Head of Field Insights & Performance. This role involves leading the transformation of operational, recruitment and performance data into actionable insights that improve productivity, commercial performance, decision-making and workforce outcomes. This is a commercially focused role that combines AI, analytics and operational understanding to drive measurable business improvements rather than simply producing reports.
Candidate Profile
An AI-native, commercially minded analytics leader with experience in operational performance, business intelligence, sales or field operations, product analytics or revenue operations. Comfortable working with complex data to influence business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business performance scorecards and KPIs.
- Analyse operational and workforce data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
- Build performance profiles to support better management decisions.
- Improve recruitment performance through data-driven insights.
- Support the development and validation of AI-powered decision support tools.
- Deliver concise, actionable insights for operational leaders.
- Define and measure operational best practices and performance standards.
- Use AI and large language models to accelerate analysis, generate insights and improve decision quality.
- Ensure data quality, consistency and governance across operational processes.
- Train and refine AI systems through human review and feedback.
First 90 Days
- Assess current data quality and reporting capabilities.
- Establish key performance measures and operational dashboards.
- Deliver initial insight reports and improvement recommendations.
- Support the rollout of AI-assisted analytics and decision tools.
- Present evidence-based recommendations to improve operational performance.
Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial and analytical capability.
- Experience with Excel, SQL and business intelligence tools.
- Practical use of AI and large language models.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear business actions.
- Experience designing and measuring operational improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
