Our client, a leading supplier in the automotive industry are looking for a Group Treasury Manager to oversee and manage the treasury functions across their entire group of companies.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing treasury methodologies, ensuring the efficient use of working capital, managing financial risks, and maintaining the financial stability of the group.
This is a permanent, fully remote position and can be based anywhere in Ireland. They are also offering a very competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and enforce the operational rules for payment centers within the group.
- Oversee working capital management, including setting and monitoring turnover standards.
- Ensure the protection and preservation of the group's assets.
- Manage the group's financing activities, including securing funding for the companies within the group.
- Oversee financial transactions with banks, financial institutions, and other partners.
- Manage currency risks, including forecasting exchange rates and their impact on the group.
- Prepare and consolidate reports related to treasury functions across the group.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of financial operations and payment chains within the group.
- Support the management and improvement of the group's automated payment request system, including methodology development, system setup, and adjustments.
- Formulate and control the Cash Flow Budget (CFB) across the group, ensuring compliance within Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
- Conduct audits of treasury functions within the group to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Manage and optimize the utilization of free cash flow for assigned companies within the group
- Oversee the budgets allocated to the treasury function within the group, including coordinating and approving budgets for Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Languages: Fluent English & Russian (Desirable). German, Arabic, Mandarin are advantageous.
- Extensive experience in treasury management, preferably within a corporate group structure
- Strong understanding of financial risk management, working capital management, and financial analysis
- Proven experience in managing relationships with financial institutions and overseeing financial operations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and automated treasury systems is a plus
