Group Financial Accountant - Newly Qualified

Our client, a leading Irish-based transport and logistics group are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join its high-performing finance team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Manager, this is a broad, hands-on role offering excellent exposure to PLC-level reporting.

With offices in Dublin 1, they are operating with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing consolidated interim and annual financial statements under IFRS
• Budgeting, monthly and quarterly Board reporting
• Statutory accounts for subsidiaries and regulatory announcements
• Tax compliance, bank covenant reporting, and cash management support
• Partnering with auditors and divisional finance teams on a range of finance projects

Requirements:

• Newly/Recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with:
• Strong academic and professional training, ideally Big 4/Top 10 practice experience
• Solid IFRS knowledge and experience in preparing financial statements
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• A proactive, problem-solving approach
