Our client, a leading renewable energy company, are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team.
This is a hands-on role combining strong financial control with commercial insight and business partnering. You will work closely with project managers, development teams, and senior stakeholders, providing financial analysis, challenging assumptions, and supporting key project and investment decisions.
With offices in Dublin City Centre, they are operating with a hybrid working model (2-3 days onsite) and would be offering a competitive salary, 26 days leave and strong pension.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a finance business partner to project and development teams.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cashflow planning, and financial analysis.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary.
- Maintain strong financial controls, governance and cost discipline across projects and entities.
- Support year-end accounts, audit, and tax compliance.
- Provide commercial challenge and financial insight to support investment and project decisions.
- Contribute to improving finance processes, reporting and decision-support capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with corporate finance, commercial and technical teams.
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 1-2 years' post-qualified experience and a commercially focused mindset.
Nice to have:
- Experience in finance business partnering or a commercially focused finance role.
- Strong experience in management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong technical accounting capability and good tax awareness.
- A proactive, energetic, and solutions-focused approach.
