Our client, a well-known leader in the construction industry headquartered in Ireland, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team on an initial 12-month contract, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Responsibilities
- Complete month-end management accounts within established deadlines.
- Prepare month-end journals, including inventory, prepayments, accruals, depreciation, and revenue.
- Perform balance sheet analysis and reconciliations.
- Support the group consolidation of all entities within the plc portfolio.
- Aid in the development and management of the fixed asset register.
- Enhance our culture of continuous improvement by critically evaluating current processes, policies, and structures to boost operational efficiency.
We are seeking a qualified accountant with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, financial control, reporting, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
