Key Duties and Responsibilities

Work safely at all times by identifying risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.

Respond promptly and effectively to equipment failures or issues in a cross-functional environment.

Record all maintenance interventions, including failure codes, and provide guidance on preventative actions where required.

Execute planned maintenance activities, including predictive, preventative, and calibration routines.

Ensure all work orders are completed on time, safely, and in compliance with site procedures, with accurate asset management data recorded.

Provide clear, concise written and verbal handovers to colleagues.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify enhancements to job plans and spare parts for planned maintenance activities.

Support major equipment overhauls and coordinate external vendors while on site.

Contribute to the development of training materials and cross-train colleagues as required.

Assist colleagues and other functions with tasks such as equipment set-up, sampling, and cleaning validation activities.

Work effectively within cross-functional teams using Operational Excellence or continuous improvement methodologies to optimise processes.

Maintain audit readiness at all times by adhering to housekeeping standards and completing required training on schedule.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required

Minimum of a Level 6 Electrical qualification (or equivalent) with a strong mechanical aptitude.

At least 2 years' experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Experience in regulated industries such as biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, facilities maintenance, or FMCG manufacturing.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and equipment reliability in all tasks.

High attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures accurately and adapt to change.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to meet scheduled timelines.
