Data Scientist IV

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and analytical Data Scientist IV to join our Data Analytics & Engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in ambiguous environments, independently leads complex cross-functional initiatives, and is passionate about using data to drive business strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Data-Driven Strategy

• Lead the development and execution of data science strategies to influence key business decisions and drive operational improvements at scale.

Advanced Analytics & Modeling

• Design, build, and deploy advanced analytical models and prototypes.
• Extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets using tools such as SQL, Tableau, Hive, Presto, Python, and R.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Present recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Reporting & Visualization

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Ensure data visualization best practices are applied across all reporting outputs.

Mentorship & Collaboration

• Mentor and support junior data scientists and analysts.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and learning-oriented team environment.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and introduce innovative data science solutions.
• Drive adoption of best practices in analytics, modeling, and data engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience:
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and measurable business impact.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (including complex query optimization).
• Strong experience with Big Data tools such as Tableau, Hive, Presto.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Data Storytelling:
• Demonstrated ability to convert complex data into clear, strategic narratives.
• Data Architecture & Reporting:
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, reporting systems, and visualization best practices.
• Communication:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Operations, Scaled Services, or similar domains.
• Proven expertise in working with large-scale, complex datasets.
• Strong history of delivering strategic business impact through data initiatives.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and building AI-enabled solutions within data workflows.
