Brilliant opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a large Financial Services business in Dublin City Centre.
As the successful applicant you will lead and manage a team dedicated to ensuring implementation and delivery of best practice in the areas of management reporting, performance measurement, decision support, financial forecasting and planning, and providing analysis and commentary for key decision making by the Executive and the Board.
The role requires someone who is commercially aware and focused on the key drivers of the business.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the team in the planning, preparation and analysis of annual budget, forecasts and medium-term plan
- Build relationships across the business to develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability
- Drive the roll out and continuous improvement of the Anaplan forecasting tool to ensure best in class forecasting.
- Interpret, analyse and review financial information to enable the Leadership Teams make commercially informed strategic decisions
- Support with the financial assessment of various commercial initiatives including pricing and new product development
- Understand each of the key income drivers of the business, with an ability to articulate and discuss insights with colleagues up to and including Executive level
- Preparation of presentations for key audiences, identifying key trends / issues / recommendations and the provision of support to the business
- Facilitate cross-functional initiatives to drive business growth and operational efficiency
- Work with the Central Data Office team to develop insightful dashboards and data to enable better decision making
- Build robust relationships with the Finance senior management team and all other key stakeholders and customers
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE
- Proven experience in an FP&A / Finance Business Partnering role
- Demonstrated experience in business leadership, influencing and informing decision making
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges
- Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ambitious with an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience working with planning tools desired, such as Anaplan, for forecasting and strategic analysis
