Overall Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and own weekly updates of a wide range of trading reports and scorecards, used to highlight key actionable opportunities for Sales Leaders. Create and maintain user-friendly dashboards that can be leveraged by Sales Leaders & Managers to identify growth opportunities and track customer activation.
Lead on one or more business partnership areas (e.g. Emerging Markets), developing expertise in this business area and providing support to the relevant Sales Leader
Top Daily Responsibilities:
- Update a range of weekly scorecards & reports, covering a wide range of business areas and sales priorities.
- Ensure the highest standards of data accuracy, clear formatting and presentability to senior leadership, in both spreadsheets & slides.
- Collaborate closely with EMEA GCS Finance colleagues to ensure usability of reports and incorporate feedback Identify, integrate and maintain multiple data sources (e.g. PLX tables) to enable high-impact dashboards, reports and analysis
- Analyse revenue trends and key performance metrics and identity key actionable insights relevant to sales leaders in running their teams
- Identify areas for automation and process improvement across the team and own implementation
- Stay abreast of trends across the GCS EMEA business via close collaboration with Finance team colleagues, helping identify commonalities and best practices across business areas
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of relevant work experience in financial or other data-intensive roles
- Experience working with SQL and databases
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Solid analytical work experience in high data volume environments
- SQL expertise and familiarity with tools and data infrastructure
- Skilled at working in an unstructured environment; strong at navigating ambiguity, managing multiple assignments simultaneously and bringing clarity and structure as you go
- Desire to structure and solve large, complex and novel analytical problems Demonstrated track record of effectively partnering with technical, business and ops stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with senior management teams
- Impeccable business judgement and ability to influence business leadership across functions
- Team player; willing to help out other team members as necessary while promoting positive morale
