The Role
Our hiring partners are seeking a candidate with strong finance experience, particularly in acting on behalf of banks and borrowers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing transactions effectively and collaborating well within a team setting. This position involves advising a wide range of clients, including banks, airlines, leasing companies, manufacturers, export credit agencies, funds, arrangers, and lenders on both domestic and cross-border transportation and asset finance matters. This includes handling securitizations of aircraft lease portfolios and establishing aircraft leasing and joint venture companies.
Background and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant experience in the finance group of a large or medium-sized corporate law firm
- A collaborative approach and a high level of initiative
- Strong academic background
- Excellent technical and drafting skills with keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated excellence in client service
- High level of commercial awareness
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
