AI & Data Engineer

My client is looking for an AI & Data Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their organisation in Dublin. This is a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes across core systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Develop and optimise data models and architectures for efficient data processing.
• Identify gaps in existing data processes and implement improvements
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and optimise pipeline performance, resolving issues and improving efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Data Engineering role, ideally within Financial Services or a regulated environment.
• Strong expertise in Azure data platforms (e.g. Azure SQL, Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse).
• Advanced SQL skills, including data modelling, transformation, and performance tuning.
• Experience building and managing ETL pipelines and large-scale data architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP beneficial) and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and Agile delivery, with Python experience advantageous.
