Job Description: Third Party Risk Assessor (12-Month Contract)
Position: Third Party Risk Assessor
Location: Cork, Ireland (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Assessor on behalf of our client based in Cork.
Following a major system rollout and process enhancement, the Global TPRM team operates a streamlined, high-volume risk assessment workflow. In this role, you will evaluate third-party risks across a broad spectrum of business operational areas, ensuring rapid turnaround times and strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
This position is ideal for an operational risk, compliance, or audit professional with 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
High-Volume Risk Screening: Perform triage and risk screening reviews on Inherent Risk Questionnaires (IRQs) across 8-9 operational domains
Target-Driven Output: Manage an active task queue aiming for an output of ~5 risk screening reviews per day while meeting strict SLAs (e.g., 2-day stakeholder turnaround).
Proactive Stakeholder Engagement: Drive timely responses by directly reaching out via phone to internal business partners across all levels of the organization to resolve queries, rather than relying solely on email.
Risk Evaluation & Reporting: Review third-party due diligence data, evaluate action plans, and record final risk dispositions using centralized risk management tools.
Standardisation: Apply standardized qualitative risk-scoring criteria to evaluate third-party risk profiles and ensure compliance with overarching global frameworks.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in third-party risk management (TPRM), operational risk, audit, or a high-volume compliance/operations environment. Experience in target-driven operational screening environments (e.g., high-volume assessment roles) is highly advantageous.
Stakeholder Management: Assertive, proactive communicator who is comfortable directly contacting stakeholders across global time zones to secure updates and push tasks forward.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to quickly assess broad risk topics and maintain quality under volume-related delivery targets.
Education / Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Relevant certifications (e.g., CTPRP, CRISC, CISA) are beneficial but not required.
Location & Work Authorization: Must be based in/around Cork with eligible, unconstrained working rights in Ireland.
