Senior Finance Manager - Global Statutory & Financial Reporting
Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract

We are recruiting a Senior Finance Manager on behalf of a leading global multinational to lead and execute a high-visibility Global Financial Statements Programme.
Reporting into senior Global Financial Solutions (GFS) leadership, this role is accountable for managing the statutory reporting lifecycle for existing and expanding legal entities across international markets, strengthening controllership frameworks, and driving digital technology deployments to support a scalable global operating model.
Programme Governance & Statutory Delivery: Own the end-to-end statutory financial statement lifecycle across a portfolio of global legal entities, leading entity onboarding in line with the global financial roadmap.
Technical Accounting & Review: Provide technical accounting review of local statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions, evaluating complex accounting judgments, critical estimates, and alignment between local GAAP and US GAAP.
Technology & Process Automation: Act as the central finance lead for the business assessment, design, and deployment of financial reporting technology tools in collaboration with IT, Tax, and Delivery teams.
Stakeholder & Auditor Management: Develop strong relationships with global market finance teams and serve as the key point of contact for external auditors across interim, quarter-end, and year-end audit cycles.
Financial Controls & Compliance: Maintain general ledger integrity, oversee Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and ensure strict adherence to internal control policies, worldwide controllership manuals, and local statutory/tax regulations (including VAT and Corporation Tax).
Operational Close Oversight: Direct and review month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L variance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting metrics.
Professional Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) or equivalent accountancy qualification.
Multinational Experience: Established track record within a multinational corporate environment, with deep experience operating within a multi-country Record-to-Report (RTR) function.
Statutory & US GAAP Expertise: Technical accounting proficiency across US GAAP, local GAAP (including Irish statutory and tax reporting), revenue recognition rules, and statutory statement preparation.
Systems & Digital Capabilities: Working knowledge of major enterprise ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP), combined with experience assessing or deploying digital statutory reporting tools.
Audit & SOX Governance: Proven experience managing SOX controls and orchestrating complex audit deliverables with external audit partners.
Programme Execution Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under strict reporting deadlines, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse cultures.
