About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Services Engineer with a strong background in energy systems and HVAC to join a well-established company in Cork. This is a permanent role offering hybrid working and the opportunity to work on technically challenging pharmaceutical and large-scale building services projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of energy-efficient mechanical and HVAC solutions while supporting project teams from concept through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and delivery of HVAC and building services systems across pharmaceutical and energy-focused projects.

Develop energy-efficient solutions in line with sustainability and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.

Oversee technical documentation, specifications, and drawings.

Support commissioning, testing, and system handover activities.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Ensure all works comply with health & safety, quality, and industry standards.
Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 6 years' experience in building services engineering or a similar role.

Strong background in HVAC systems and energy-efficient design.

Experience working on pharmaceutical or regulated projects is highly desirable.

Relevant third-level qualification in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
