What you'll be responsible for
- Lead the Quality function across manufacturing operations.
- Own quality performance, product release, traceability and quality systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation/customer standards.
- Manage the Quality Management System, document control and audit programmes.
- Lead regulatory, certification and customer audits.
- Oversee analytical testing, HACCP-based risk assessment and verification programmes.
- Manage supplier approval and raw material change control.
- Lead customer complaints, non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Develop the Quality team through effective training and capability building.
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Manufacturing and Senior Management.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years' experience in FMCG.
- Previous Quality Manager experience within a production/processing environment.
- Degree in a Science-related subject.
- Level 5 HACCP qualification or higher.
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety & Quality Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of food/feed legislation, customer standards and Codes of Practice.
- Experience with auditing, ideally Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor training.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and senior management.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational and interpersonal skills.
