This role is reporting into the Technical manager and oversees a team of 3 across Quality. Key element would be supporting in the maintenance of the BRC, GMP, customer audits. Customers incl Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and food service.
Key responsibilities:
- Owner of the Quality management and Food Safety System
- Lead Customer Audits/Visits and ensure all corrective actions are dealt with in a timely manner
- Develop and manage relationships with key customers and partners.
- Collate and Communicate Quality performance at the relevant forums to ensure targets are met and corrective/preventative actions are carried out in a timely manner
- Measure and close out technical issues i.e NC's, CAPAs, Supplier issues etc.
- Maintain site certifications
- People - Coach, develop, train and up skill the Quality team to enhance knowledge and understanding

- Excellent technical competence with the capacity to effectively analyse issues and problem solve in accordance with our Continuous Improvement philosophy

- Thorough knowledge of the requirements of the best practice Food Safety Standards
Qualifications Required:
- 4+ years experience in a Quality focused role
- 3rd Level qualification in relevant discipline
- Experience hosting Customer and Regulatory Audits
- Experience training / developing more junior colleagues
