Job Description
We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our clients team as a Construction Planner. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Project Manager to develop comprehensive construction schedules that meet client requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating fully resourced and cost-loaded schedules.
- Ensuring the maintenance of construction schedules and tracking planned versus actual progress.
- Collaborating with the construction team to address any issues affecting progress and logging them accordingly.
- Participation in site meetings, both internal and with clients.
- Monitoring original versus actual budgets for scope growth or changes.
- Utilizing our internal database project control system effectively to capture and update progress.
- Overseeing fabrication shops and site installation output.
- Utilizing database reporting systems to disseminate information to the project team.
- Taking the lead in producing and coordinating the issuance of weekly construction reports.
Skills and Requirements
- A relevant 3rd level qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in an M&E contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 software is required.
- Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Willingness to potentially visit and support other project locations as needed.
