Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading provider of Automation Solutions as they look to expand their inhouse Project Management delivery team inline with ambitious multi year expansion plans.
As a Project Manager you will be joining an established multidisciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions, with a key focus on driving projects to completion. You will have a leading role enabling project activities across both engineering and production teams, implementing engineering development projects, especially those related to design, build and test of automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for project management and implementation of projects
- Managing the engineering and production activities across a range of projects
- Drive projects to successful completion through proactive and comprehensive Leadership
- Ensure team members have availability and the tools and .to deliver to succeed and escalate issues to management
- Respond to project requests and ensure timely delivery of activities with the required personnel
- Interacting with and supporting customers throughout an entire project life cycle
- Report on the status of projects, leading to objective review of project performance and revenue recognition
- Maintain live and accurate project information in our Enterprise Resource Planning software system
- Build relationships key stakeholders within the business and customer and supply chain organisations
- Manage customer expectations and maintain clear and relevant communications and organise and host customer meetings and events as required
- Manage risks and issues within projects, escalating key concerns. Keep a risk register and drive down issues with proactive management
- Manage change control in association with approval process
- Support to improvement processes and authoring processes
- Update key stakeholders in Operations, Accounts, and Finance through weekly status updates
Skills, Attributes & Experience:
- A Level 7 minimum qualification in an Engineering related discipline or equivalent
- experience
- Prior experience in delivery of engineering services or products is essential
- Demonstrable project management experience, with previous experience working to a structured project management system
- Proven ability writing technical documentation for regulated industries; including project proposals and quotations
- Experience of working to an accredited Quality System preferred
- Experience collaborating with large multifunctional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Inquisitive nature and logical thinking to support best project outcomes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills required, solutions focused with a problem-solving attitude
- Familiarity with industrial automation and medical device sectors will be an advantage
