About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading biopharma manufacturer in Cork for the position of Maintenance Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a state-of-the-art facility and play a key leadership role within a high-performing engineering team.
Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site's maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day organisation of the Maintenance Department, including timekeeping, holiday cover, and task prioritisation.

Ensure maintenance technicians are trained, supported, and equipped to deliver a safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance service.

Manage facility and live utility maintenance while maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Coordinate Preventative Maintenance (PM), calibration activities, and work requests to optimise equipment performance and reliability.

Maintain and develop the site's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), tracking work orders, asset history, and maintenance KPIs.

Lead internal and external audits for the department, ensuring full compliance with GMP and statutory requirements.

Support reliability engineering projects, using data-driven insights to improve asset performance and reduce downtime.

Implement and manage continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

Participate actively in equipment-related change control processes.

Conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.
Skills & Experience Required:

Recognised Craft Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.

Minimum 3 year's supervisory or senior maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical, biopharma, or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.

Strong working knowledge of CMMS and maintenance management practices.

Proficient in MS Office applications.
