Legal - Compliance Specialist - 6-Month Contract

We're recruiting on behalf of a global tech client for a Legal & Compliance Specialist to join their Privacy & Law Enforcement Compliance team on a 6-month temporary contract in Cork.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a legal, paralegal, or investigatory background to support the handling of urgent and standard data requests from law enforcement agencies - ensuring timely, lawful, and accurate responses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review legal information requests (standard & emergency) from law enforcement
• Accurately identify legal documents (e.g. subpoenas, warrants) and escalate complex or non-standard requests
• Maintain confidentiality while working within strict data privacy protocols
• Communicate with law enforcement and internal stakeholders, both in writing and over the phone

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience in legal compliance, or supporting law enforcement requests
• Strong judgement, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Technically proficient and comfortable using multiple internal systems
