Our client, a leading engineering design consultancy based in Cork, is seeking a Junior to Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary design team, contributing to the delivery of mechanical building services designs from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of mechanical building services systems
Produce calculations, specifications, and technical drawings
Support senior engineers on projects across multiple sectors
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Experience in mechanical building services design (junior to intermediate level)
Familiarity with Irish / UK building regulations and standards
Experience with design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or similar)
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Motivation to learn and progress within a consultancy environment
