This role will focus on leading the implementation of a Digital Transformation IT system, which includes transitioning from legacy applications to cloud-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Transformation Leadership: Lead the introduction and implementation of the Digital Transformation IT system, retiring outdated legacy applications, and facilitating the move to newer cloud-based technologies.
- Partnership Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners, ensuring that solutions and designs meet business requirements and align with the strategic goals of the organisation.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with business partners to create detailed solution designs, participate in the development and maintenance of the Business Capability Roadmap by Domain, and align these with the company's strategic objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks from operational, financial, and technological perspectives, and make informed recommendations to improve efficiency and drive project success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders, including business leads, to support the strategic direction of the project.
- Industry Expertise Application: Utilise industry-leading expertise to recommend and coordinate the enhancement, development, and maintenance of business systems, processes, and solutions, employing high-maturity methods and tools.
- Innovation and Solution Design: Lead requirements management and change management processes, and oversee the development of visualisation and user experience elements in solution design.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical software discipline or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience with external-facing portals, web services, mobile solutions, and cloud-based software (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Proficient in statistical and data analysis with working knowledge of SQL.
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in decomposing high-level information into details, abstracting low-level information, and distinguishing between requests versus needs and requirements versus solutions.
- Process and Quality Management: Competency in business process modeling, business rules modeling, Six Sigma, CMMI, PCMMI, virtualisation, and Agile Project Delivery Concepts.
- Communication and Leadership: Strong presentation skills with the ability to develop and communicate a clear vision for the project/system, and effectively lead cross-functional teams.
