Job Title: Operations IT Manager
Location: Hybrid - Cork
Role Overview:
The Operations IT Manager will lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring that IT services, systems, and processes support business needs efficiently and securely. This role will manage IT operations teams, streamline processes, and drive improvements across IT infrastructure, support services, and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the IT operations team, including staffing, onboarding, training, and workload management.

Oversee IT operations, ensuring smooth functioning of systems, applications, networks, and infrastructure.

Manage incident response, problem resolution, and service requests to minimize business disruption.

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency across IT functions.

Collaborate with other departments to integrate IT initiatives with broader business operations.

Foster a positive team culture, professional growth, and skill development within the IT team.

Support IT strategy implementation, system validation, and compliance with internal policies.
Basic Requirements:

HS Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in IT operations or IT management.

Demonstrated experience in operations-focused IT roles, including team leadership.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:

Strong prioritization, project management, and process improvement skills.

Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with IT service management (ITSM), system validation, and compliance standards.

Experience in managing cross-functional IT projects and operational workflows.
Additional Information:

Hybrid working model based in Cork.
