Position: PLC In-House Solicitor
Location: Cork (Hybrid, with 1 day per week onsite)
Contract: 12 - 18 Month Contract
Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join the legal team of a leading business based in Cork. This role is perfect for a legal professional seeking to expand their expertise within a progressive in-house environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer legal counsel on various matters including:
- Commercial law
- Corporate law
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
- Data protection
- Property law
- General compliance
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.
- Provide legal support and coordinate with external lawyers on mergers, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations throughout the business.
- Draft and advise on data processing agreements and related issues.
- Manage relationships with external advisors on the aforementioned matters.
- Provide ongoing ad hoc legal advice to the business as needed. Full job description available upon request.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in Ireland with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial/corporate law.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
