The Industrial Process Engineer will be a key support to the operations department from an engineering perspective. You will have a strong industrial or manufacturing background with a strong understanding of lean methodologies. This role provides an opportunity to make an impact on engineering processes.
DESCRIPTION
- Oversee the smooth transition of process changes and product revisions to the production floor, ensuring all quality and validation requirements are met.
- Advocate for and implement continuous improvement activities, using Lean manufacturing tools to achieve performance targets and cost savings, thereby fostering your personal growth and development.
- Initiate root-cause investigations, conduct a thorough analysis, and document production failures to prevent a recurrence.
- Work closely with various departments to execute corrective and preventive actions effectively.
- Develop and implement improvement projects targeting production processes, equipment, and tools.
- Maintain and create essential technical documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Training Instructions.
- Train manufacturing associates on new and existing processes.
- Lead and participate in Kaizen activities, demonstrating a strong leadership and decision-making track record in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATION
- B.S. Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related technical degree.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in operations engineering or similar role.
- Understands Lean Manufacturing principles and methodology.
