I am recruiting a detail-oriented and highly organised Document Controller €40,000-45,000 per annum to join my clients team on a 6-month temporary contract, with a view to extend. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all project documentation within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of experience in a document control role, strong technical proficiency, and experience with document management systems. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive document control processes in accordance with internal organisational standards.
- Oversee document workflow management using SharePoint, ERP systems, project management software, and other document management tools.
- Review, verify, and approve documents for accuracy and completeness through meticulous proofreading and technical review.
- Organise and file electronic and physical documents systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and records management.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to internal standards related to production and document control procedures.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication by coordinating document review cycles among engineering and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain records management systems to track document revisions, approvals, and distribution history.
- Support document management initiatives by implementing best practices for document control within engineering or manufacturing environments.
- Assist in the development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to document control activities.
- Provide administrative support related to document control tasks, including data entry, data management, and reporting as needed.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of proven experience in document control within engineering or manufacturing industries; familiarity with the medical device or pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), project management software, ERP systems, and document management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail for proofreading, data entry, filing, and records management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high accuracy levels.
- Experience with document review (document control), workflow management systems, and technical documentation is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain internal documentation standards in a fast-paced environment.
