    Job Title: Qualified Carpenter - Modular Housing Specialist

    Location: Nationwide, Ireland (Projects across multiple sites)

    Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    We are partnering with a leading and established Irish construction company, a specialist in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), to recruit an experienced and highly-motivated Qualified Carpenter. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team focused on delivering high-quality, sustainable, and rapid-build modular and timber-framed homes nationwide.

    The Role

    You will be an integral part of the on-site construction team, responsible for the fit-out, assembly, and finishing of innovative modular house units.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform all aspects of carpentry, including first fix (roofing, framing, structural work) and second fix (architraves, skirting, doors, flooring).
    • Work with precision on both modular and traditional timber-framed housing systems.
    • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard of quality and in compliance with project specifications and Irish building regulations.
    • Adhere strictly to all site health and safety procedures, including holding an up-to-date Safe Pass.
    • Coordinate effectively with site management, engineers, and other trades.
    • Assist with the erection and fit-out of volumetric building solutions.

    What You Need to Succeed:

    • A minimum of 3+ years post-qualification experience as a Carpenter, ideally with exposure to high-volume residential or MMC projects.
    • A recognised trade qualification in Carpentry/Joinery.
    • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certification.
    • Proven ability to work accurately from technical drawings and specifications.
    • Strong commitment to quality, a keen eye for detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Willingness to travel and work on sites across Ireland.
