Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Business Analyst on behalf of one of our clients. This is a 6 month daily rate contract, with minimal onsite requirements in Cork.
The Business Analyst will join the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) function within the HR department. This role will focus on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), working closely with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Subject Matter Experts (CSR SME) in order to gather and analyse information from various stakeholders across the organisation. This is not a typical project structure; instead, it requires direct interaction with different business areas to ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate would be good with processes, managing & planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Information Gathering: Collaborate directly with the CSR SME to collect data from various stakeholders within the organisation, ensuring all relevant information is captured accurately.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively reach out to individuals across all business areas to gather necessary information, demonstrating confidence and effective communication skills.
- Reporting: Develop detailed and accurate reports on corporate sustainability initiatives and progress, ensuring compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. Most of this reporting will be done via Confluence.
- Data Analysis: Analyse the gathered data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in corporate sustainability practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the ESG function and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and integration of sustainability efforts across the organisation.
- Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding.
Qualifications:
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills.
- 3-5+ years experience as a Business Analyst.
- Extensive experience working with Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Proactive and confident in reaching out to gather information.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
