Job Description:
The Global Associate Director Supply Chain will lead the planning efforts for a global medical device portfolio for a leading multinational here in Cork. This role involves managing the global network of manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and market nodes to achieve service level targets, optimize inventory, and enhance agility.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of managers, supervisors, and contributors in a matrix environment.
- Oversee supply network planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage forecasts, production, and inventory plans to meet demand and service level requirements.
- Optimize supply chain inventory and enhance supply chain agility.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean & Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate across functions and regions to support new product launches and supply chain initiatives.
- Lead the development of a talent pipeline and ensure effective performance management.
Qualifications:
- Required: BS in Business, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, or Healthcare; 8+ years of experience with 5+ years in leadership roles; strong strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: Experience in the medical device or pharma industry, Green Belt Six Sigma certification, APICS Certification, and Advanced Planning Systems experience.
