Key Responsibilities:
Verification, Allocation, and Posting of Transactions: Responsible for verifying, allocating, and posting financial transactions to the accounting system (Sage 50).
Maintenance of Ledgers: Ensure the accurate maintenance of creditor and debtor ledgers, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
Payments to Suppliers: Manage timely and accurate payments to suppliers, ensuring all invoices are processed correctly and payment terms are adhered to.
Supplier Queries: Act as the main point of contact for all supplier queries, handling and resolving issues efficiently and in a professional manner.
Customer Queries: Respond to all customer queries, ensuring issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner to maintain strong relationships.
Payroll Knowledge (Bonus): A working knowledge of payroll processes is an added advantage, with potential involvement in supporting payroll administration.
Candidate Requirements:
Ideally a qualified Accounting Technician or Bookkeeper with relevant experience.
Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable.
Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both suppliers and customers.
