We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join a multinational organisation based in Shannon. Candidates must have proven experience managing multiple offshore finance teams across different countries and time zones. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for overseeing global finance operations, driving financial performance and supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop multiple offshore finance teams across international locations and time zones.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, strong internal controls and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Drive financial performance through analysis of business results, costs, margins and profitability.
- Provide strategic financial advice and commercial insight to senior leadership.
- Oversee audit processes, statutory reporting, tax compliance and financial governance.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and efficiencies across global finance operations.
- Build strong relationships with international stakeholders and business leaders.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role within a multinational organisation.
- Experience managing multiple offshore teams across different countries and time zones.
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and financial control expertise.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence strategic business decisions.
- Experience managing international stakeholders and complex, multi-entity finance operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, commercially focused approach with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
