Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join its expanding finance team. Working closely with the Finance Controller, this is a key role supporting the day-to-day oversight and management of the Ireland finance function. The position offers broad exposure across financial oversight, business partnering, compliance and controls, with strong visibility across the wider global finance organisation.
You'll support the Financial Controller across month-end, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit, SOX compliance and financial controls, while partnering with stakeholders across the business globally to provide insight, challenge and support informed decision-making.
Role Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Financial Controller on the day-to-day oversight of the Ireland finance function.
- Lead and oversee month-end close, financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support the ongoing management of SOX compliance, internal controls and financial governance.
- Provide financial insight and support to senior stakeholders across the business globally.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of queries.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting across the finance function.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Provide guidance and oversight to the wider finance team and act as a key point of escalation.
Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years post-qualified experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience within a complex or multinational environment.
- Manufacturing experience is highly desirable, ideally with exposure to a site-based or operational finance environment.
- Confident partnering with senior stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
- Strong technical accounting and month-end experience, with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organisation.
- A natural problem solver who is keen to take ownership and make a tangible impact.
