Finance Business Partner
(Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant)

Morgan McKinley is working with a well-known brand based in Milton Keynes that's growing rapidly, with exciting plans for continued expansion. Within one of their key divisions, the operational finance team has grown by 12 people over the last two years - a sign of the business's success and ongoing investment in its finance function. Following an internal promotion, they're now looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team.
Reporting into a newly promoted Finance Manager (who previously held this role and will offer plenty of support and guidance), you'll take full ownership of all capital expenditure (Capex) activity within the division. That means reviewing business cases, assessing return on investment (ROI), challenging assumptions, and closely monitoring spend - specifically on infrastructure, supply chain, and factory/process efficiency projects. Your insight will help the business make smart, strategic decisions about where and how to invest as it continues to grow.
This opportunity is ideal for a Newly Qualified Accountant or someone with 1-2 years' post-qualified experience who wants to get closer to the business, influence key investment decisions, and grow their career in a fast-paced environment. You'll need solid core finance skills, an analytical mindset, curiosity, and the confidence to engage and influence senior non-finance stakeholders. The client is also open to considering strong finalists with the right experience and attitude - someone who's switched-on, proactive, and on track to finish their exams soon.
***Please note: Candidates must have UK experience and full right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available. You must also be based within a reasonable commuting distance to Milton Keynes, as the role requires you to be in the office 5 days a week.
