Credit Controller - Bristol

Contract: Temp to perm
Location: Bristol - 1 day per week in the office, with the remainder working remotely.

We're recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a team based in Bristol on a temp-to-perm basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous Business-to-Consumer (B2C) credit control experience, managing payments and outstanding balances directly with individual customers rather than business clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outstanding customer accounts and chase overdue payments.

• Contact customers by phone and email to arrange payments and resolve queries.

• Set up and monitor payment plans where required.

• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and collection activity.

• Handle payment disputes and account queries professionally.

• Work towards collection targets and reduce outstanding debt.

Experience Required

• Previous B2C credit control experience is essential.

• Confident communicating with individual customers regarding outstanding payments.

• Strong telephone manner and negotiation skills.

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Please note: Business-to-business (B2B) credit control experience alone will not be suitable for this role.
