Senior Manager, Conduct Risk, Global Bank

Great opportunity to be part of the Behavioural Risk division.

The central function of the Conduct Risk team is to effectively oversee and challenge how the client manages conduct risk as a material risk type. It includes maintaining and enhancing the Conduct Risk Management Framework and designing and implementing the Organisation-wide Conduct Risk Program to support the development of policies, processes and systems to identify, manage and report conduct risk.

The Program is responsible for independently assessing conduct risks based on the issues identified by Business Groups, and for producing and presenting reporting to identify the relative strengths and areas for development to senior management and the Board

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager Conduct Risk, your role is pivotal to ensure that the organisation assess conduct risk and identify emerging risks to promote positive change.

  • Leveraging your strong stakeholder management skills to ensure all relevant parties are engaged in the Program's activities to continually strengthen organisation's management of conduct risk.
  • Support in the implementation and execution the Program and identify improvement areas
  • Data analysis to identify and draw insight from relevant metrics and data sources.
  • Contributing subject matter expertise to programs developing the management of non-financial risk, including conduct risk, across the organisation.
  • Designing and delivering risk training to all levels of staff.

The Successful Candidate

  • A sound background in risk management, controls and compliance in a large complex organisation
  • Experience in conduct risk, including customer outcomes and market integrity issues
  • Backgrounds in Behavioural risk or Risk in Change highly regarded; can be from a Human Resources field
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing stakeholders
  • Knowledge of risk systems and the ability to identify insights from data
