Excellent opportunity for a driven FP&A analyst or Manager to work with a number of a high profile people within the business

Our client is seeking an high performing Finance Manager with strong verbal and written communication skills to provide advice and support to internal stakeholders so they can make thought decisions about their financial activities and initiatives.

The right person needs to display with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as be a confident communicator.

This role represents an outstanding opportunity to deliver value through timely reporting and analysis, and by providing insights that support critical decision making.

Major responsibilities

  • Partner with Departmental management on finance-related issues, including the provision of related strategic and tactical advice to assist in decision making
  • Co-ordinate the delivery of finance-related outputs on behalf of designated Departments (e.g. the annual budget, monthly reporting and analysis, regular forecasts, project reporting, etc.)
  • Provide advice and feedback to Finance management and to the Management Reporting team on relevant themes from designated Departments
  • Drive continuous improvement of analytics, month-end, forecast and reporting processes to deliver enhanced outcomes
  • Use your analytical skills to support the organisation-wide understanding of key metrics

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in Financial Services
  • Possess a 'can-do' and curious mindset
  • Experience in preparing, monitoring and reporting of expenditures against plans, forecasts
  • Practical experience in analytical reporting and in the application of accounting principles
  • Ability to conduct deep dives and provide insights to non-finance stakeholders
  • An ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills
